All Ages
There are orthodontic solutions for every stage of life. Two-phase orthodontics for our youngest patients addresses early orthodontic issues and creates a strong foundation for lifelong smiles.
Early treatment, also known as Phase One, is typically completed between the ages of 7 and 10. It addresses serious orthodontic issues, guiding jaw and dental development and setting the foundation for a beautifully aligned smile in the future. By addressing issues early, we harness bone growth and alignment of both primary and permanent teeth, reducing the need for more invasive treatment later on.
Teen treatment, sometimes known as Phase Two (for patients that had an early treatment), creates a harmonious bite and ensures that each tooth is properly positioned for optimal oral function and aesthetics. Comprehensive teen treatment may involve clear aligner therapy, braces or orthodontic appliances to address any remaining issues, such as overcrowding, spacing, or bite discrepancies.
There is no age limit to orthodontics! Whether you are 19 or 85, it is never too late to get the smile you've always wanted. Dr. Smith will work with you to customize your treatment plan to your individual needs; coordinating with specialists and your dentist to ensure the best possible care.
Need an implant, veneers, or partial denture? Dr. Smith will work with your dentist to ensure your dental work will last long-term.
